THE Royal May Day isn’t the only 150th anniversary being celebrated this year.

Knutsford Methodist Church laid its first foundations in 1864 and to celebrate, the church is hoping to host a special display on May Day.

The church participates in the May Day celebrations every year by offering cake and coffee to festival-goers but this year they want to mark it in a special way.

The Princess Street church is keen to hear from anyone who has a connection to the church and has photos or mementos of past May Days.  If you do not have photos but know what year they were published, the church would also like to hear from you.

If you have any information, photos or mementos, or would like more information, contact Heather Lawrence on 01565 651 438 or email
