THIRTY-THREE volunteers gave their time to help clear litter on The Heath at the weekend.
On Sunday, The Friends of the Heath litter pickers joined forces with the Cheshire Wildlife Trust and, in just over an hour, the team collected an entire van-load of litter from both The Heath and Little Heath area.
Volunteer Peter Sharratt said: “We collected 30 bags of all manner of rubbish, including, cans, bottles plastic piping and rusty scaffolding. The litter picks happen about every four months.”
